Learn West Coast Swing: a social partner dance with smooth elasticity and musicality
West Coast Swing is a beautiful dance with emphasis on musicality and partnership. Over the years, the dance has evolved from its lindy hop roots, and is recognisable today for its linear aesthetic and smooth elasticity.
In our classes, we highlight the movement flow and the partner connection before footwork. This helps develop strong partner technique from the start and build confidence fast to enjoy social dancing.
West coast swing is usually danced on songs around 85-125 bpm and mixes influences from various other dance styles such as zouk or blues.
