Learn Modern Jive / Ceroc™: a dance that fits any music and any dance floor
Modern Jive, also known as Leroc or Ceroc™, is a dance that evolved from a French jive called LeBop. What makes it unique? There’s no fixed foot pattern, and you can start moves on any beat, which makes it easy to learn – just walk to the beat and move with your partner!
This dance is rich in variety, with endless variations and great musicality, blending styles and inspirations from many different dances.
Modern Jive is usually danced to music around 130 bpm, keeping the energy high and fun.
We bring our Modern Jive experience into our West Coast Swing classes, making West Coast Swing easier than ever to learn and fit for the Modern Jive floors!
