New to Ballroom Dancing?
Learn Standard & Latin in a day:
Nov 24, 14:00 – 17:00
Learning ballroom dancing can be hard, there are all those steps and moves… until you discover breakaway ballroom!
Breakaway ballroom is an easy way to learn ballroom dances, with an emphasis on partner connection and the flow of the dance. You will discover three standard dances (waltz, tango and foxtrot) and three Latin and American dances (cha cha, rumba and jive), sometimes extended with salsa and leroc.
A breakaway ballroom dance becomes a creative story between two partners who alternate traditional patterns and breaking patterns in harmony with the music.
In breakaway ballroom, we guide your first steps on the dance floor and highlight the conversation with your partner. Once you move around the floor with confidence, footwork and figures come naturally and your dance becomes a creative story where traditional patterns and breaking patterns alternate in harmony with the music.
New to ballroom dancing? We hold regular breakaway ballroom workshops in Zürich, Switzerland, generally near the Polyball. What are you waiting for? Join our next event or book a private lesson!
